3S was founded in 1991 in Roitham, Upper Austria. Their mission is to manufacture core components for extrusion systems and machines, a mission which still applies today. Precisely customised for challenging tasks in extrusion, filtration and plastics processing.

We are a highly specialised company that is part of the EREMA Group. With our experience, expertise, and power for innovation, we contribute to the exceptional performance and durability of EREMA recycling systems.

Customers from other sectors - such as the oil industry - have also long since recognised our abilities, and we are also a reliable partner for them when it comes to custom-built machine and plant components. We now have a total of 65 employees at our two locations in Roitham and Wartberg im Mürztal to ensure we can exceed expectations.

Roitham location

Founded in 1991, 3S is a manufacturing company specialising in core components for the extrusion industry (screws, barrels, feeder parts, etc.). Our company employs approx. 50 people working in two shifts on a production area of 3500 m². Our team would be pleased to provide you with advice and help work out your wear parameter requirements. Don't let your machines run until "nothing comes out any more"! Have your processing unit checked every year to make sure that it is running cost effectively and ensures maximum production uptime. Wartberg location

3S opened a second production site in 2010 located in Wartberg im Mürztal, where the workforce has grown from 7 to 15 employees as of 2013.

For extruder screws, our speciality is the production of highly wear-protected process combinations like the ones needed to achieve a long service life while processing plastics containing various abrasive additives.
