With the wear inspection service from 3S, you have an overview of the condition of screws and barrels at all times. This means there are no surprise machine malfunctions, which could result in long production downtimes. In coordination with production, the process combinations are checked for wear at your premises or at 3S. Repairs or replacement of screws and barrels can be planned in the long term based on the inspection reports. Production downtime is reduced to an absolute minimum as a result.

A special feature is the wear measurement of conical twin screw barrels. This in-house development from 3S - called WISCEB - makes it possible to determine the wear values even for conical barrels.
